Question: When Bella is on her period, how come Edward can be around her!?
I mean, there's all that blood!. And when the Cullens are at school, there has to be girls on their periods, even if some of them took those pill things!.

Anyone got any ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stephenie Meyer has addressed this a number of times as signings and such!.

Period blood is dead blood, and so it's not as 'attractive' as regular human blood!.

As with anything, the Cullens have just learned to 'deal with it', per say!. They are used to be around good-smelling humans, but have learned to restrain themselves!. So, when a girl is on her period, it probably doesn't make a difference, because it's dead blood, and they are used to resisting!.

Hope this helped!

It's a different type of blood!. Stephenie Meyer says that Edward finds it harder to be around her when she has her period, but that he would never say anything about it to her!. She would just be to embarresed to ask him!. I guess it's the same with the rest of the Cullens; they would have to deal with it, especially Rosalie and Alice!. It probably didn't make much difference to Carlisle; Bella probably just didn't go around their house when she was due!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
