Treasure Island by Robert Lewis Stevenson!. - pirates, intrigue, murder on the high seas, evey kind of treachery!. A great story!.

I also recommend Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe!. This is an American classic and well worth reading!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Anthem" by Ayn Rand, it was written in '58 and is about 270 pages, but a fast read and really thought-provoking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
