Fantasy authors I like that are not on your list, in approximately descending order:
Charles de Lint, Robin McKinley, Philip Pullman, Terry Pratchett, Lois Lowry (her young adult books, not the kids' series; some is sort of SciFi, but only in that it's set in the future), Nancy Farmer (she writes some fantasy, mostly other genres though), Edith Pattou (I've only read one of her books, East, all the way through - I think I checked another one out from the library once, but didn't get a chance to finish it - but the one I did finish is one of my favorite books), T!. A!. Barron, Shannon Hale, Lloyd Alexander, Garth Nix, and plenty of others that I don't remember right now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maximum Ride (love it) the author's James Patterson bout kids who have wings (starts with the Angel Experiment then School's Out--Forever, Saving the World and other Extreme Sports, the Final Warning, Water Wings)
Pendragon series (they're okay) forgot the authors name ^_^
Inheritance Cycle (love it!!!!) can't wait for the next one, after Brisingr the author's Christopher Paolini (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr)
