13 year old? ?

Question: Is Gossip Girl with reading and suitable for a 12/13 year old!? !?

Is it good!? The trailer for it on you tube looked pretty cool, but I don't usually read that kind of stuff - is it suitable for 12 year olds!? I usually read teenage books, but I did read the first page of one, and I was kind of put off, because it swore so much!. If my parents caught me reading a book like that, then there might be trouble - so, is the whole book like that!? Or just the front page!? Thanks!. Promise to pick best answer!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are all like that!. The language is awful!. These books are full of drug use, drinking, and sex!. They are completely unrealistic and give teens the idea that doing these things is ok and comes without consequences!. I don't think they are good books at all for anyone!. Sorry!. Although with my description you might want to read them even more now!. But whatever!. Its your choice!. I would read something else!. They are a waste of time and money and trees!. They are not for a12 /13 year old or a 30 year old!.

I think it's probably suitable for a tween, but I would lean more towards an adult group!. It's on the verge of being Sex and the City in terms of how racy high school could get!. I would just think, if they're not in high school - they probably shouldn't be reading a high school novel!. I would imagine 14 would be a more appropriate age, but if the person is mature enough - then by all means!. Enjoy!. I think the show and the books are fantastic!. The whole book is like that, all of them are!. They're also pretty dirty, there's a lot of drinking, drugs, and sex!. Definately not suitable for a 12 or 13 yr!. old girl!. I would suggest you don't read 'em!.
