Question: How would an aspiring author get a book idea published!?

i think that i have a very good idea for a book, and i've already wrote it and everything!. problem is, i dont know what to do next!. can anyone help me out!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

First, you need to make certain your book is as good as you can make it!. This means editing it to correct any errors and to make every sentence pull the reader forward to the next sentence!. You can do this in two ways:
1!. Join a writer's group or attend writer's conferences, where you can share your work with others and get their feedback!.
2!. Hire a professional editor!.

Next, you need to find an agent or publisher who handles the genre of your book and who is looking for new clients!. You may not need an agent, but some publishers will not deal directly with authors!. Look at Writer's Market for names of agents/publishers!. This book should be in your local library, or you can use their on-line site (www!.writersmarket!.com), but they charge a fee!.

Finally, you send your work to the agents/publishers who fit your needs!. Every agent/publisher has a list of submission guidelines, either on their website or by mail!. Send them exactly what they ask for!. If they ask for 50 pages, send them the FIRST 50, not the best 50, and don't send the entire manuscript if they haven't asked for it!.

If you don't know better than to say "I've already wrote it", you need to forget about getting anything you have written published!. If there is grammar like that in what you wrote, it will never be read by an agent or a publisher!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
