Do your own homework!. Nah, Im kiddin!.

Well, Mr Collins is a weird little man who proposes to Lizzy thinking that there is no way shell turn him down!. He rambles on about why he wants to marry her (1!. hes a preacher so he must set the example of matrimony to his parishoners, 2!. He thinks marriage will lead greatly to his happiness and 3!. it is at the great urging of his patroness, Lady Catherine de Buergh!.)

Lizzy hadnt even given him an answer yet, and then she says NO!. Mr Collins says "well, since you can not be certain of another proposal, I can only think that the reason you reject me is to deepen my love by suspense!." he thinks he knows how respectable common females anwser proposals, and Lizzy gets mad and says shes not an average female!.

Mrs!. Bennett gets all mad, because MrCollins is to inherit their estate when MrBennet dies, and she wants Lizzy married!. MrsB said if Lizzy didnt marry him, she would never talk to her again, but MrB said he neverd talk to her if she did!.

I suppose you could say MrCollins's style is pompous and stuffy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Arrogant, presumptuous, condescending, patronising and egotistical!.
Love didn't come into it and he didn't understand her refusal!. Although he wasn't mortified!. Elizabeth just hadn't realised his overwhelmingly positive attributes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
