Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
For the 14 and 16 year old boys:
The Last Guardian by Shane Johnson (sci-fi/fantasy)
Gideon's Dawn by Michael Warden (also fantasy)

Lynn Marzuli's series about aliens and UFOs and fallen angels:
Nephilim: The Truth is Here
The Unholy Deception: The Nephilim Return
The Revealing: The Time is Now

Joel C!. Rosenberg has written a series that is set in the end times!. He used to be involved in the Israeli government, so he has an interesting view of prophecy and a better understanding of international political maneuvering than most of us:
The Last Jihad
The Last Days
The Ezekiel Option
The Copper Scroll

Gilbert Morris also has a series about the end times:
The Beginning of Sorrows
Fallen Stars, Bitter Waters

And James Beauseigneur's trilogy about the end times is one of my favorites:
In His Image
Birth of an Age
Acts of God

For the 11-year-old girls:
Lois Gladys Leppard has written 2 series of books about an orphan named Mandie!. The first series begins when Mandie is a young girl and the first book is "Mandie and the Secret Tunnel!." I can't remember now just how many Mandie books there are in this series!. The author has recently begun a new series about Mandie that picks up when she starts college!.

Janette Oke has written a bunch of books that are sweet romances with Christian themes!. My daughter read most of those, too!. "Tomorrow's Dream" and "Another Homecoming" are two that she left on her bookshelf in her bedroom here when she got married!.

Hilda Stahl has a series of books about a girl named Elizabeth Gail who wants to be a concert pianist!.

It isn't truly Christian, but "Anne of Green Gables" and "Anne of Avonlea" by Lucy Maud Montgomery are fabulous books!. The Disney miniseries, starring Megan Followes as Anne and Colleen Dewhurst as Marilla, are top-notch!. These books or videos would not be inappropriate in a Christian home!.

And for any of the kids, a complete set of C!.S!. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia" is good!.

A free read!.

There is one online about the Kingdom Gospel!. It's the story of a couple of kids who take on the task of interpreting the Bible on their own and end up challenging long standing doctrines!. A fun read for young and old!. It's called "Gospel Enigma" and is the 10th book on this list: http://newfreebooks!.com
