Question: Name analysis of Pearl: Scarlet Letter!?

Im doing a project for school and im stuck on
the finding the significance of Pearl's name
I know that shes Hester's greatest treasure but i need to go into
more depth

i would take a look at how a real pearl comes into play!.!.!.its formed from irritations (or in this case the sins, turmoil, guilt, and tainted exterior image of Hester's immorality), but when released from the shell, or accepted by Hester as a true partner in her turbulent life, the result is beautiful, and Hester has come full circle, as in the circular sphere of Pearl
also my class discussed how Pearl is a human representation of Hester's sinly scarlett A on her bosom, as Pearl was devasted when her mother took it off!. essentially Pearl is Hester's sin with the liveliness and characteristics of a human!.

She's a great treasure, and she's totally pure, especially compared to Hester!. She's quite young throughout the book, so she has the round baby face, and pears are round!.!.!. I dunno, that one might be a stretch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
