After an emotional goodbye, I left my mother to go live with my third cousin who lives in Pforzheim, Germany!. The first time I heard that name, I snickered!. Reason being, Pforzheim is close to the German word for “fart”!. As I waved goodbye to north America, I felt around in my carry-on bag!. It had some candy bars, a parka, a book named Eclipse, and a journal to record my findings!. And if you’re wondering why I’m going to Germany, I’m going there to study exotic animals only available in Germany!.
“Off to many germs I go,” I started singing
I saw my mom wave goodbye and wiped her tears away from her face!. A real emotional goodbye!.
