THE FLEETING
As I lay Asleep Sound in my Bed
with thoughts running wild and rampant throughout my head
I awake suddenly only to find
those words have absconded already escaped from my mind
how could this be!? where oh where have you gone!?
That poem which came unto me in such sweet lullaby dreams
tasting softly of strawberry and creams
I begin pondering
you have left me wondering
Like an Autumn tree mourning in frozen synergy as it's leaves
fall ever so swiftly to the ground
I am built up little by little unto a skillfully created
artificial mound
Only to to have the allusion realised when i awaken from the
familiarly memorable yet forgettable song
Now all that's left to say is so long so long
!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
Have you ever had a dream a wonderful dream full with spirtitual magnitude of
sheer loving exuberance the feeling of extreme joy because of a dream!?
Well that is what i had once long ago a dream of dancing poems flowing freely to my mind
the title the fleeting means something escapes our mind when we do not want it to
yet always will and always has, it's ephemeral, evanescent, transient, momentary and Yet how Strange
that it is We cannot incur those memories again!
The WORD absconded means to flee or run away with something or someone
An allusion is a kind of shorthand used by fiction writers to provide greater context
or meaning for the fictional situation of the novel That is what tried to get across!.
