Question: Do books ever "take you back!?"!?
Sometimes when I read a book, and then I reread it years later, I remember a lot of stuff about myself from the first time I read it!. I love how it takes me back, makes me so nostalgic!.!.!.!.

For as much as I complained about my childhood, it rocked :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are enjoying an active mind!. One of the special benefits is a memory that can allow you to relive certain things that happened long ago, through your mind's eye!. You are not alone!.!.!.!.the older I've gotten, the better this has been!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sure I can remember reading Dune on the beach!. The sound of the wind, the press of the hammock ropes, and even the grit of the sand!.

One of those vacations where you've read everything you brought with you and start swiping your parents' or older brother's books to have something to read!. The book was way over my head, but blew me away!. That's about the time that I realized what a squalid ghetto the children's section was and started reading adult books!. They really aren't doing you a favor diverting you into the recently invented "young adult" section!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
