Question: Do you think i can be a novelist someday !?
I am 14 and i love to write, I want to be a writer when i grow up!. Do you think i have potential!? What do you think this piece!? It is the beginning of a story I am writing, it is only a first draft and I know I have a lot to learn about life and writing before I'm good!.

A tree holds many different stories and during the fall they all show!. All the beautiful colors begin to blend together to create one story!. To us, they just look like pretty colors, but to the tree’s they are stories of the beings who sit beneath it!.
I have collected stories for so many years, that they have all blended into my story and this is my spring!.
When world war one broke out, I was nineteen years old so my father planed for me to ship out!. A lot of the boys my age couldn’t wait to go, my best friend Jimmy Phillips had said
“Aw, Come on Tuck it’ll be an adventure, plus if we don’t go, will never get out of this sorry excuse for a town!.” I still wasn’t convinced!.
When I finally worked up the courage to tell my father I wasn’t going go to war, he told me I had no choice!. I can still remember my body filling with defeat, I had never questioned my father’s rule before and thought he had complete control over me!. That night when darkness engulfed our sad little town, I took with only a bag on my shoulder!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Yes, I like your style!. I like the way you attribute the color of leaves to hold experience: very clever!.

But, don't be in a hurry!. Like a leaf, the story has to unfold!. You have to research on a history piece like this!. What did the guys look like during WWI !? What town does this take place!? Where are we, etc!.

Don't stop now!.!.!.!.TW Www@QuestionHome@Com

First I want to say that I loved that piece and I wanted to read more!.

And I, too, want to be a novelist someday!. Even, though I am 11 years old, I love to write my own stories and it is a great thing to do!. It is a gift of mine, and I think that you have a gift, too!. Never give up on your dreams!! :-)))Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just do what you love and forget everyone else in the world!. Don't think about being a novelist until you've completed your "prise" piece and are sure you are ready!. When you are absolutely sure you are ready, look up agents who can help promote your work!. In the mean time, you have a lot of time to practice your writing and read other books!. That's really good! Maybe if you keep at it, you'll get even better and you might even be a novelist someday!. The piece is great, especially the beginning when you started off with a mindful description of trees!. Great job, and keep up the good work because the best reward is getting better each day!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i feel like reading the rest of it, its a great story, keep it up!
and good luck, be patient with yourself, i think its great!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

im not going to read this because its a lot ,so yeah i think you could beWww@QuestionHome@Com

Hard to say, as you're still young and that is a relatively brief sample to judge!. Beyond that, getting a book published can be difficult even if you're a great writer!. You need to be able to tell a story that people will want to read, and that a publisher will think that the people want to read!. Marketing savvy (or VERY good luck) is just as important as creativity and technical writing skill!.

You seem like you may have some talent, and have at least a basic grasp of some literary tools!. There is plenty of room for improvement, but at such a young age, you have plenty of room to develop!.

My suggestion would be to read a lot, and to keep writing as well!. Try to find someone (a teacher, or anybody you know who may be a bibliophile) and solicit opinions and especially criticism!. Your writing will improve much more quickly if you know areas of weakness and strength!. Gradually your style will improve, and you'll generate more ideas (the lifeblood of a writer)!.

So, sure, you have the potential to develop into a quality writer, but whether or not you get to that level, and get the breaks you need to be successful novelist is another question, and one with a very uncertain answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
