I don't know the true reason, but as some have said the subject of this series is null and void by the end!. And though somewhat repetitive, I think it would be interesting to read the books from Edward's perspective!. But I also think she could start a series that picks up with Jacob and Renesme and get a couple of books out of that!.!.!.!.by doing so the Cullens and Bella would still be very much involved in the background!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that she wasn't able to write any more books because the publishers probably didn't want to make the story a run on!.!.!.
as in they didn't want readers to get bored of the series and not buy them!.
I am dissappoitned that her work on Midnight Sun was postponed and I hope that she continues to write it because from what I read from it on her website, it was very good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because, they would have grown more and more boring!.
The excitement of the books, was that she was in love with someone who has a desire to eat her, and that she was being chased by the Volturii!.

She is now a vampire, so Edward doesn't wanna eat eat!.
Volturi is gone!.

I think it's more like Little, Brown worrying about their rapidly decreasing reputation if they publish any more of her!.!.!. "Books!." For lack of a better word!.

She can, she's just refusing to!. Midnight Sun didn't even have a publisher!. If you're talking about Bella's POV, I don't think anyone wanted to read anything more from Bella's twisted thinking after BD!.

I think she could have but she didn't want to!. And she's writing the first book but from Edwards perspective, so that will be something for fans to look forward too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
