I don't think it's that big of a deal because, to be honest, your daughter probably didn't understand anything that happened in the first two books!. I used to teach first grade and even though some of my students could read all the words of a mature book there was no way they could understand the plot!. So she probably wouldn't even enjoy reading the others!. I had a student who was "reading" Harry Potter but he couldn't talk to me about what was actually happening in the story because it was too much for him to understand!. He could read all the words but he couldn't follow the story!. Unless you actually meant 16 year old daughter and in that case, she's old enough!.

also, considering the fact that you have another question on here in which you state that you are 12, I'm sure your "daughter" can go right ahead and read the rest of the Twilight books!. As a matter of fact, I recommend War and Peace next, then Siddhartha!.

i'm impressed that your 6 year old is reading teen literature!.
I wouldn't worry about Eclipse!.!.!.There are subtle insinuations to sex but they never come out and say that!. If she asks, you can tell her that she wants to be with Edward forever or something!. There isn't much language if I remember correctly and the characters are genuine and usually good!. and even children's shows have villains!. if your daughter has survived the first two books, then nothing new as far as violence is there!.

yes yes and yes!. why is your daughter reading those books if she is 6!? thats messed up!. especially eclipse and breaking dawn unless you wanna give her the sex talk anytime soon!. tell her to wait till shes 16 to read the rest!. and also the use of language is pretty loose!. You should read them before giving them to your daughter there are some pretty mature themes in those books, and i read them all and even i dont think they are that great for me, and im a teenager, let alone i wouldnt want to read it if i were 6Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have a 6-year-old!. Your daughter must be very mature to even grasp these books!. I had several of my middle school students ask me about themes in Eclipse!. Whereas I would allow my teenager to read Eclipse, I would not have my 6-year-old read it!. Definitely do not have her read the fourth book, Breaking Dawn!. It has some very disturbing imagery!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If a 6 year old girl can fully understand everything that goes on the the first two books, I am very impressed!. As long as she knows what's going on and has a parent reading it with her she should be fine!. Just be warned there is a slight mention of sex near the end and some violence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

um, yes I would say that is bad because Twilight in general is meant for young adults, probably 13 and up, six is not an appropriate age considering the sexual content in breaking dawn, and the kissing scenes in all of the books!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
