Question: Does barnes and noble buy used books!?!!?!!?!!?

Ask at their nearest retail outlet: they do have a used book division that you can access online!. So does Wal-mart!. The local store may or may not purchase your used books but go online and you should be able to find where you can dispose of them!.
I've bought a number of old, rare, and out-of-print books from them and from the online resource allbookstores!.com --- they sell both new and used books, and quite a few of them are college textbooks!. My youngest daughter saved hundreds of dollars on textbooks while taking her degree in biology at SUNY Fredonia College!. And when a simple bio text can cost more than three hundred bucks new - well, she's been out barely four years and already has her college loans paid off!. Those used books sure helped!. And the reason I mention that is, some college bookstores will purchase used books if those books are current and are useful for today's college classes, such as American or English lit!.!.!. hey, the worst they can say is no, so try them too!.
One last thing: others who've answered your query are correct - you won't get a good price for your books - but at least it'll be better than throwing 'em in the trash!. These days, you gotta pay to send your used books to the dump!Www@QuestionHome@Com

not really ~ when/if they do they usually pay very little Www@QuestionHome@Com
