Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Book Swapping does work!. Some sites are free, others charge to use the service!. Bookins is a good one, as is paperbackswap and titletrader!. If you search http://www!.librarything!.com for the book you want, you can click "Swap this book" to find a swapping site that has copies of the book!. You can also get free books from your local library -- http://www!.worldcat!.org!. Hope this helps!. Www@QuestionHome@Com I currently use readitswapit!.co!.uk, and bookhopper!.com which are both slightly different!. On RISI you list your books and request swaps that the other person can agree or disagree with; when people request from you, you can agree or disagree to swap!. On bookhopper if you request a book that person has to send it!. In this way they build up 'credit' so they can request more books!. You have to list a minimum number of books to start requesting!. As long as you are honest about the conditions of your books, can reach a post office easily and don't list super-heavy books (no hardbacks! they'll cost you a fortune to send) it is an excellent way to pick up new books and get rid of the old!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Try swaptree!.com!. Its a great place to swap books!. It's free, all you pay is shipping!. Www@QuestionHome@Com |
