Episkey was first used by Tonks when she comes across Harry whose nose has been mauled by Malfoy!. Then Harry uses it on one of his teammates when Ron accidentally hits her with his Keeper’s bat!. Those two were serious injuries!. But then Harry cuts his hand on the mirror in the7th book and doesn’t he say something about having never properly learned how to heal injuries!? Yeah well, this is one of the many confusing things which I have come across the books!. I mean, if Episkey can heal major injuries, why can’t it heal minor ones!? Or maybe, Harry simply forgot all about it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I saw that too!. I was confused then didn't think much of it!. There are a lot of weird things in the book which I consider to be mistakes (kind of)!. Like how I keep thinking that Voldemort should come back as a ghost - and J!.K!.R could make a sequel!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

maybe its not a minor cut!? maybe its really bad!?

i havent read that book yet buh it could be the context of the situtation as to why he doesnt know!. like hes cut his hand and all confused or something!?

This is a cut from the mirror, or no!? I would say that either Harry forgot the spell, or it's a serious cut that he can't heal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe the spell required to heal a cut is different from a broken nose!. If I recall right that was what the spell was for!. try emailing JK and ask her!. It maybe a over looked type OhWww@QuestionHome@Com

He's having a C!.R!.A!.F!.T moment (can't remember a flipping thing!)Www@QuestionHome@Com
