Morgan, Meg, Meggie (girl)

Ace, Aiden, Ajax (boy)

Kole, Kory, Kasey (boyish kind of girl)

Elizabeth, Essence, Elisa (girl)

Edward, Ethan, Edan (boy)

These names seem most believable as a real person!. Since your book is based on real people, the most believable names would be the best choice in my opinion!.

I presume you are American!? Have you thought about the nationality of your characters!? Or even the international appeal of a particular name!?

From a British perspective the names are not what I think you think they are:

Adabella (made up!? OK for school play but no futher), Autumn (a bit posy, hippy parents!? smacks of the kid in school of rock, but I know she was Summer), Avril (dated)

Morgan Meg and Meggie are very Welsh!. But nice, although Morgan is a boy's name!!!!

Ace (name of Doctor Who's FEMALE assistant in the 1980s although she was a bit butch - never heard of name since), Aiden (nice Irish boy), Ajax (well that's a toilet cleaner in Britain from the 1960's!)

Kole (sounds like a bad penny sweet (candy) worse spelled), Kory (badly spelled boys name), Kasey (same but worse as conflation of initials!?)

Elizabeth, fine, Essence (you've got to be joking other than for a hippy American kid), Elisa (same as Elizabeth for short, no difference)

Edward (fine, Ethan (very American mid west not used in Uk), Edan (surely not even in America!?)

I don't mean to be negative!. But names have meanings and associations that go across boundaries!. If you expect you characters to resonate internationally you need to try and explore a bit further than your own borders!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
