GONE WITH THE WIND is my favorite book EVER! i just read it a couple weeks ago!.
its long but i finfihsed it sooo fast cuz it was simply amazing and easy to read!.
alsooo the roll of thunder hear my cry serious is also good it deals with racism and such

Have you read The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak, it is a really good book about a girl that lives around the time of the holocaust!.
