Lord of the Rings Trilogy: Best fantasy series ever by far!.
My Sister's Keeper: Wonderful book about some current issues with a surprise twist at the end
The Giver, Gathering Blue, and Messenger: All three books should be read by the time a child is in sixth grade!. No joke!.
What On Earth Have I Done: Another gem by Robert Fulghum!. =)

The Holy Bible- So you know your rules in life and how much God loves you!.
The Twilight saga- So you know what true love is like, and how a real man is (in my opinion, Edward Cullen is perfection)
The Diary of a Young Girl, Anne Frank- So when you think you hate your mom, or you think your life sucks, pick up this book, and you will see how people have had it much worse!.
The Secret Life of Bees- So you know what a real friendship is!.
Any autobiography- To have perspective on life!.
your text books for school- So you can get into a good college!.
Any how to books, so you can pick up some skills!.
Any books that you like, to keep yourself happy!.

Have an amazing day!. Life is short so live it up!

The first site is comprised of two lists of the best 100 novels of this century, one chosen by the editors, one by the readers!. I've read almost everything on both lists and they're all worth reading once!.

The second site is 100 of the best for younger readers!.

The last site is the 100 best novels of all time!.

There is nothing on the last list that is not worth reading at least once!.

PS!. Despite it's male bias, this list is great as well:
