Question: BELLA SWAN AND STEPHENIE MEYER!?
Has anyone besides me noticed the huge fact that Stephenie Meyer describes Bella's appearence almost exactly like her own!? I know that the typical picture of SMeyer shows a lady with long, curly red hair!. BUT if you look at the picture of her in the back of Twilight, she looks exactly like Bella!. Long, straight brown hair, brown eyes, and weird looking lips!. Is this just a cooincidence, or did Meyer do this on purpose because she was writing for her own enjoyment before she published the book!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it's because Twilight is her own personal fantasy!. I mean, she's openly said in interviews before that she's told her husband she would up and leave him in a second if Edward and Jacob were to show up at her door!. She's also said that she and Bella are very similar in some ways!. I think she was living through Twilight, in a sense; she is Bella, to an extent!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
Yes, Bella is Stephenie Meyers!. She won't come right out and say it, but it's pretty obvious!. Actually, not pretty obvious, *really* obvious!. The whole Twilight book is a romantic fantasy of Meyers!. When she talks about where she got the inspiration for the book!.!.!.a dream about two people standing in a field!.!.!.it's pretty (really) obvious that the female was herself!.
Some people bust on Stephenie Meyers about the fact that it's obviously herself that she's writing about, but I'm not saying it as a criticism!. It's fine that that's where she got the idea from!. Wherever an author gets an inspiration from is good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was probably all on purpose!. Meyer put herself into Bella's character because!.!.!.well, she could!. I guess I can't blame her, since I always write a minor character of myself into my stories, but it's always minor!. If I make myself the main character then it just feels weird!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Most writes like to put themselves in their stories, maybe this was the case with myer!.!.!.!. I know when I write I have found I have put a part of me in close to all my characters!. My looks and personality!. I think its because the writing came from that person and there writing reflects them (if that makes sense)!.!.!.!.!.!. hope i have helpedWww@QuestionHome@Com
like stephanie said she had a dream before she wrote the book so maybe she saw herself in the dream
and when she started writting maybe she sought it will be much easier for her to describe characters the same way she dreamed
