Question: Ways to write a book!.!.!.!?
I always have trouble figuring out how to write the book!. As in, i don't know if it should be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person!. If it should be kind of like a journal!. If i should start in the middle of the conflict or try and stretch it out and start with a possibly boring beginning!.

Suggestions!? Ways you prefer books to be written!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have this problem all the time!.
What I do is take my favorite parts and write them in different points of view!. Which ever one I like best is the way I write the rest of the book!.

also, have you ever experimented with multiple points of view!. I have and I kinda like it!.

Good luck!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Um, well, second-person is like an instruction manual where you talk directly to the reader; it's annoying!. First person you tell the story as if you were the character, and only see the thoughts of the one character you are writing as (though you can switch points of view to a new character)!. Third-person can be zoomed in on one person and only know how they feel and what they see without being as personal (and sometimes annoying) as first-person; this also gives you a chance to distance yourself from your character a bit, which is often nice!. Another option of third-person in omniscient, in which the narrator knows every single thing that goes on; this doesn't often work well because it eliminates the mystery of the thoughts of other characters, but is sometimes pulled-off!.
I prefer either first-person or third-person limited!. I don't mind when the point of view changes between characters so long as it is clear who the story is zoomed in on!. I write in a third-person limited and switch zoom between the two main characters (this is my first novel), but I did start it off in first-person!. I'm glad I started over, and am quite a bit more pleased with the third-person alternating than a one first-person view!.
Point of view is completely up to the writer!. It's your style choice, and no one can choose that for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i wouldnt write it from 1st because then u could only write it from one view point and not tell feelings of other characters and stuff, which i enjoy reading about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Write it backwards, the ending first then decide how the beginning should be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
