It would be helpful if you put what books you have already read and enjoyed!?
I will recommend Twilight by Stephenie Meyer though you may already have read it!. As you can see from one glance at the Y!Answers Book section, the Twilight series is immensely popular and beloved by copious amounts of teen girls so if you haven't read it then definitely give it a go!. It's about a teenager who moves to a new town and meets (subsequently falling in love with) a gorgeous vampire named Edward Cullen!.

Apart from that I can recommend 'A Great and Terrible Beauty' by Libba Bray, which is set in Victorian times and has lots of girl bonding and magic and romance and all sorts of things!. Great book!.

If you haven't already read it then I'd recommend reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen!. When I first read it at 14/15 (can't quite remember my age but around that) I thought it was the most fantastic thing I'd ever encountered and it still enthralls me now and always will!. It's romantic, with Mr Darcy, the best romantic hero of all time, and all sorts of other intriguing and delightful characters and if you can accustom yourself to the language (it's not difficult, just a bit posh and of its time) then you'll probably love it!. It's certainly not a stuffy school book as some people seem to assume!.

I'd also recommend reading 'Tithe' by Holly Black; it's a modern fairy tale and very fun and interesting!. It's got romance, darkness and well fairies but not quite as you know them!.

also, 'Wicked Lovely' by Melissa Marr is a great read with lots of romance and once more fairies that are really really interesting!. It's a gripping read and the sequel's out now too, which is set in the same world!.

'Witch Child' by Celia Rees is a fascinating book about witchcraft with a very realistic edge to it!.

The 'Uglies' series is also a great read about a destroyed world and it has sequels!. Popular and with good reason!.

And if you get around to it try reading J!.D!. Salinger's 'The Catcher in the Rye'!. At first glance you might think 'school book' but trust me, anyone who's read this (even people who hate reading!) that I know has come out adoring it!.

Hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
