These are manly romantic comedies but I think you'll like them!.!.!.

The A List (series of 10) - Zoey Dean
About the goings on of the teenage children of the rich and famous, contains a wide variety of material - love, hate, jealousy etc!. Loved it!

Girl Meets Boy, Guy Next Door, All American Girl, Avalon High, etc!. - Meg Cabot
I absoloutly love Meg Cabot's books! I would especially recommend the Girl Meets Boy & Guy Next Door as well as the third in that series, I immensly enjoyed them! Some are intended for adults but most for youth and I love them all!

Lioness Quartet, Wild Magic Quartet, Trickster, etc!. - Tamora Pierce
Tamora Pierce's books are mainly set in the land of Tortall in medieval times, they use the same characters just at different stages of their lives and different books/series' focus on different people!. They consist of fighting, magic, love, etc!.

The diaries of kelly ann (2 books) - by Liz Rettig
These recount the goings on of an older teenager as she strugles to make decisions and learn to trust in others!. The second one, Now or Never is about her relationship with a boy and is funny but romantic and suspencful at the same time!.

It's A Mall World After All - Not sure who wrote it though!.!.!.
Comedy of a girl and how she falls in love with her best friend's boyfriend's bestfriend while stalking her friend's boyfriend in an attempt to prove he is a lying cheating scumbag!. A very good read & lovey but funny at the same time!.

I'd Tell You I Love You But I'd Have to Kill You - Ally Carter
About a girl brought up as a spy and enrolled in a leading spy school who falls in love with an ordinary boy and can’t tell him who she actually is!. Funny!. There is a second in the series called To Spy or Not to Spy, it’s just as good!.

Possibly the S!.A!.S!.S!. series - Numerous Authors
About the travels of students and what happens to them on their stay - love etc!. Not brill but an ok read

Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paloini
Love them, you have to read them, Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr!

Sweet Valley High Books - !?!?!?
I can’t remember who wrote these but they’re a pretty good read even if they are kind of old!. If you’re into series’s these are good as their’s over 100 books

The Last Summer (Of You and Me) - Ann Brashares
A good book but immensly sad, it is probably better for older teens or adults!.

I have more suggestions if you want to hear them, just contact me or check out my website, http://www!.freewebs!.com/greatteennovels/

Suzanne Collins' "Gregor The Overlander" series is kids fantasy, but my girlfriend and I are hooked!.

For mysteries, try Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum mysteries!. Stephanie is an aspiring bounty hunter in New Jersey!. Unfortunately there really isn't a school to learn how to do it; so she usually ends up in an embarrassing mess!. The first book, "One For The Money" is by far the worst, but by the second book the comedy really starts to show!. I suggest sticking to the number books, but the "Between The Numbers" series is pretty good if you like holiday stories!.

For comedic crime capers, Donald Westlake's Dortmunder series is my personal favorite!. John Dortmunder is a burglar who can plan out any job, until fate decides to screw things up!. The series began back in the 1960's so the early works will be out dated by technology!. The problem is less severe with the more recent books!. I recommend "Don't Ask," "Good Behavior" and "What's The Worst That Could Happen!?" as good introductions to Dortmunder and his crew of felons!.

this is more in the teen problems area of books, which i just opened my eyes to a couple months ago, and this author is the best ever!.
ellen hopkins!.
she wrote crank, glass, impulse, burned, and identical!.
i started out with crank!. its about this girl who gets addicted to meth after she goes to visit her dad in albequerque!. and like its all about how she deals with addiction and the boys that she falls in love with!.
and glass is a sequal to that!.
i'm currently reading impulse, which is about these three kids who all tried to commit suicide and are put in this one treatment center in reno, nv!. and the only way they can get better is to help eachother!.
i'd start out with crank!. its really good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love these kind of questions!

Okay, what I suggest every time: Looking for Alaska by John Green!. Will!. Change!. Your!. Life!. (A little)
There's this book called The Mysterious Benedict Society that I enjoyed!. It's more a children's book, but if you're into that, I recommend it!.
Wicked by Gregory Maguire is a really great book!. It's the Wicked Witch of the West's story, kind of a prequel to the Wizard of Oz!.
I also liked The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman!. I didn't care for the rest of the trilogy, though, and the first can stand alone!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here is my suggestions: Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Chronicles Of Narnia, and any Anne McCaffrey books such as: The Dragon Lovers Guide To Pern!. Hopes this helps you out!. Being a great reader is being knowledgeable, keep up the great work and you will go far in life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The House on the Borderland , The Ghost Pirates or The Night Land written by William Hope Hodgson !.

"In 1877, two gentlemen, Messrs Tonnison and Berreggnog, head into Ireland to spend a week fishing in the village of Kraighten!. While there, they discover in the ruins of a very curious house a diary of the man who had once owned it!. Its torn pages seem to hint at an evil beyond anything that existed on this side of the curtains of impossibility!. This is a classic novel that worked to slowly bridge the gap between the British fantastic and supernatural authors of the later 19th century and modern horror fiction!. Classic American horror writer H!. P!. Lovecraft lists this and other works by Hodgson among his greatest influences!."

"The Ghost Pirates !. !. !. is a powerful account of a doomed and haunted ship on its last voyage, and of the terrible sea-devils (of quasi-human aspect, and perhaps the spirits of bygone buccaneers) that besiege it and finally drag it down to an unknown fate!. With its command of maritime knowledge, and its clever selection of hints and incidents suggestive of latent horrors in nature, this book at times reaches enviable peaks of power!." — H!.P!. Lovecraft

The Night Land
by William Hope Hodgson
[O]ne of the strangest visions ever published in science fiction or fantasy is presented!. The Sun has gone out: the Earth is lit only by the glow of residual vulcanism!. The last few millions of the human race are gathered together in a gigantic metal pyramid, the Last Redoubt, probably the first arcology in literature, under siege from unknown forces and Powers outside in the dark!. These are held back by a Circle of energy, known as the "air clog," powered from the Earth's internal energy!. For millennia, vast living shapes - the Watchers - have waited in the darkness near the pyramid: it is thought they are waiting for the inevitable time when the Circle's power finally weakens and dies!. Other living things have been seen in the darkness beyond, some of unknown origins, and others that may once have been human!.?a Excerpted from The Night Land on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia!.
