I love Elmore Leonard's work!. His older stuff is the best, but I think he really hit his stride with Get Shorty!. He's unmatched in dialogue and pace!. Brings a smile to my face every time I read him!.

If you like his stuff, check out Michael Chabon!. 'The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay' is his newest!. His style and pace is amazing!. Short sentence!. Short sentence!. Short sentence!. Then a sudden three, four, or five-line-long sentence that sparkles and dazzles!. also brings a grin to my face!.

Over the weekend, I picked up a book by a newer author!. Bruce Olds, 'Bucking the Tiger!.' Nothing unique about the story itself!. A fictional account of Doc Holiday!. But his wordplay is so unique, so poetic, I stood in the bookstore with another grin on my face!. Only two other authors have been able to do that to me!. Leonard and Chabon!. Check it out!. So far, it's a fantastic read!. I love it, though I do have to occasionally reference my dictionary!.

By the way, I also like Rowling believe it or not!. Even though her adverbial modifiers act as choking hazards, she's unmatched in her own special way!. Who didn't believe in the reality of Harry Potter!? And who didn't smile at all those fantastic magic tricks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
