She said she wouldn't!. She wouldn't bet on her children's lives but she was 99% sure she wasn't going to!. She said the only other novel to do with HP that she would contemplate was the story of Albus Severus Potter, Harry's second son!. She said that in the December 19 documentary "JK Rowling: A year in the life"!. She also said "If, and it's a big if, I ever write an eighth book about the [wizarding ] world, I doubt that Harry would be the central character," she says!. "I feel like I've already told his story!. But these are big ifs!. Let's give it 10 years and see how we feel then!."
annnnnnddd if ever she would publish an 8th: "It could be the encyclopaedia of the world (of Hogwarts) and then I could rid myself of every last lurking details, but no not a novel!."

So no there are no more books in the near future!. And I understand that!. The 7th Harry Potter book was amazing!. The entire series was amazing!. I think there is a very big possibility that another book could kill the series, there's no way it could live up to the hype!. As JK said, she admires people who go out when they're on top!. To the person who said there's rumours about a book from another perspective!. They're simply that crazy rumours that don't have a grain of truth!. This year, JK Rowling has kept exceptionally quiet!. Very few interviews, few sightings, pretty much nothing!. Any rumours from recently obviously haven't come from any viable source!.

In saying that she is writing more books about HP for charity!. The Beadle and the Bard comes out on December!. That's a book of wizarding fairy tales that I'm SO excited for!. And there's also the encyclopaedia of the wizarding world that she's writing (nicknamed 'the scottish book')!. That should be amazing as well but because of the recent court case between JK/WB and RDR Books/Steve Van Der Ark, that has been put on hold!. So that might not be out for a while!. All us fans are wiling to wait for it though :)

A!. No, there's no University for Wizards!. At the moment I'm only planning to write seven Harry Potter books!. I won't say "never," but I have no plans to write an eighth book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

JK Rowling has said that she will not be writing anymore Harry Potter books, because after putting so much effort into them and everything, there's nothing more to write!. However, The Tales Of Beedle The Bard is coming out soon; it's a book that's mentioned in book 7!.
also, I don't think she's writing the books from another perspective!. Whoever said that might be thinking of Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun, which, incidentally, is also "on hold indefinitely!."

Not that i have heard, i have only heard that she may write like an encyclopedia of what happened to each charter and then end the series, which would totally stink because i love the books too!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Tales of Beadle the Bard!. This is the book she is writting!. It isn't about Harry Potter, but it's from the story!.
