Question: Stephenie Meyer drama queen!?
Do you agree with me when I say that Stephenie Meyer is being a little too dramatic about having her partial draft of Midnight Sun illegaly posted!? I mean it's kind of her fault in the first place!. She shouldn't have been handing out copies to her family and friends!. It's totaly understandable that she would give a copy to her editor/editors but to her friends!? I mean is she stupid!? What was she thinking!? Say that you are the author of five bestselling novels!. Wouldn't you think that if you just handed out lots of drafts that there would be a great chance of one or more of those drafts ending up in the wrong hands!? No offense to you die-hard Stephenie Meyer fans out there, but what she did was irresponsible in my oppinion!. What annoys me is that she doesn't take even a part of the responsibility for her actions!. All she does is mope and whine (she reminds me of Bella)!. I don't really blame her for being mad, because she must have put a lot of hard work into the story!. But she's being sort of childish because she's dissapointing her fans by not finishing the book!. It is her book, and she can do whatever the hell she wants, but I'll loose a lot of respect for Meyer if she doesn't finish it because it just shows you that she doesn't care enough about her fans to give them what they've been looking foward to since Midnight Sun was even mentioned!. I don't want to sound mean, but she really needs to suck it up and not let her millions of fans down!. And when the draft was first leaked, why didn't she take immediate action and retrieve the drafts she had given out!? Why did she just sit for a week and let things fall into place!? And is it really a huge deal that only one fourth of her book was posted!? All of her books are posted online in hundreds of places at this time!. If she were to finish the book and publish it, all of it would be posted online after it was published anyway!. And what's with all the drama!? I can't believe this whole "wrong state of mind" stuff!. But!.!.!.it's her descision!. I'm not going to cry or be upset if she doesn't finish it!. I just believe that she's being a bit too dramatic thats all!. I also think that she's letting down her fans and she's not accepting the fact that she was irresponsible!. Do you agree with me, or do you think that i'm full of crap and that I don't know what I'm talking about!?
And just to let you know, I read the draft of Midnight Sun and I wasn't all that crazy about it!. It was kinda boring because Edward seems like such a one-demensional character to me!. Please don't attack me for saying this!.!.just expressing my oppinion here!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I think Meyer is being really irresponsible and dramatic!. With this little stunt, Meyer has just proven herself for the hack author that she really is!. It's her fault for being reckless and irresponsible!.
When Midnight Sun was leaked, she practically gave it one week to make its way around the internet before she came out with that note of hers!. She should have taken immediate action at once! Not wait for her drafts to be swimming around!.
And why did she give out her drafts to her family and friends like they were candy!? That's so stupid!. I really don't like the way she's trying to protect the leaker!. It leads me to believe that she was the one who leaked it herself!. What, so can have the spotlight to herself!? Is Ms!. Meyer lacking attention because of the horrible reviews Breaking Dawn got!?
When your work is leaked, just take it all in and continue to write!. There is no need for drama the way Meyer handled it!. When Rowling's HP was leaked, she just shrugged it off and continued on!. Did you ever read a tearful letter from Rowling saying that she'll stop working on HP because she was violated as a human being!? No, because Rowling isn't full of drama and whining!.
I knew it, Stephenie is an amateur hack author!. She's acting like a troubled teen instead of a 34-year-old mother of three!. People who are trying to defend her just can't grasp the truth of what Meyer really is!. They're just too in love with Twilight that they can't see the facts!.
I'm glad that even though you like the series, you still opened your eyes to the truth behind the leak!. Not like the die-hard fans here who go "STEPHENIE MEYER IS MY HERO!!!! I LOVE HER BUKS!!!"

i straight up think shes a wacko!. i love her books more then any fan i know, but when it comes to her i really dislike her and her views!. Shes being the biggest baby over this leaked 12 chapters!. ITS ONLY 12 CHAPTERS! yes it sucks but life goes on!. SHE IS TOO MUCH LIKE BELLA in new moon!. the way she is acting is absurd grow up do you have any idea how much she got just for breaking dawn not including book sales- $400!.000

It's her decision, and she's very upset!. If I was in her position, I wouldn't know what to do either!.
I've had my stuff leaked before, and I know how it feels!. All that hard work gone to waste!.
I read some of Midnight Sun and loved it!.
But you really shouldn't judge her for her decision!. It's her book, and she'll do what she wants!. And if she wants to make us wait 'indefinetely', then so be it!.
