Why are the bowls of porridge 3 different temperatures, if they were made at the same time, and they sat out for the same amount of time!? Do the laws of physics cease to exist in the Bear household!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Bowl size and shape would contribute to the porridge cooling faster or slower depending on the depth of porridge!. For instance, if Papa's bowl was big, but deep it'd stay hotter, if Mama's was a medium sized bowl, but shallow it'd cool faster, and if baby's bowl was somewhere in between depth wise (although smaller) it's be a moderate temperature!.

Now I don't think the author of this tale ever took this into consideration, but what a bowl is made out of would make a difference as well!. Ceramic would insulate fairly well, while a metal like copper would pull heat away from the porridge!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It appears that bears don't really care what temperature their porridge is!. In addition, I believe that the three bowls of porridge would be different sizes!. Different volumes of porridge cool at different rates!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it's, because there were different bowls and there's different amounts of porridge!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe all of the bowls can't fit in the microwave at the same time, which is why they are all different temperatures!.
