Warriors book??names?

Question: Warriors book!?!?names!?

i noticed that in warriors by erin hunter,they call the same characters by different names,like Leafpaw was called Leafpool too!.Do their names change or do they just have two different names!?

when there kittens at the ends of ther names are kit like leafkit
when ther apprentices at the end of ther name is paw like leafpaw
when ther warriors/deputies at the end of ther name is something like pool,foot,claw,heart ext!.!.!.!. like leafpool
when ther leaders ther is star at the end of ther names like firestar,bluestar, tigerstar, tallstar, ext!.!.!.!.
