Harry Potter!. It's so much more developed than Twilight, and is more realistic in terms of characters and such!. It has literary merit, with symbolism and messages, whereas all I see in Twilight is that if you don't have a man to depend on, then life is nothing!.

I personally much prefer Harry Potter!. I find the characters more interesting, the plots more exciting, the details about Hogwarts and school life quite fascinating, and there is far more humour!.

I didn't dislike the Twilight books, I quite enjoyed them, especially the first one, but they didn't come close to being as engrossing as Harry Potter!.

And the person who suggests that it is original to have 'good' vampires is I think incorrect!. There are plenty of other books that feature good vampires, Tanya Huff's 'Blood' series for instance, Susan Sizemore's 'Laws of the Blood' series, and some of Terry Pratchett's 'Discoworld' series have vampires who have foresworn human blood!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ooohh such a difficult question!.!.!.it's too hard to choose! I'm sorry if this is cryptic!. If I had to pick one then I think I am forced to say Harry Potter and I don't choose it lightly and I can't put my finger on why!. I love the whole Harry Potter series and I became so attached to the characters, but the ending still spoiled it for me!. I didn't want to happen what did and because of that, I didn't like it!.!.!.!.as much, but I still love the series!. As for Twilight, I became hooked extremely quickly and it was all down to one character; Edward! The ending here kind of spoiled it for me too but I understand why she chose to write it like that!. Okay I love Twilight, but Harry Potter outruns it by far!. I mean Twilight is just for people who connect with romance!. Harry Potter connects with everyone!. And I mean vampire romances are a huge thing, aka Buffy the vampire slayer!. But HP totally steps on Twilight!. I love Edward though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Neither series are favourites, but I have to say Harry Potter!. They would have both been equal, but I have to admit Breaking Dawn ruined Twilight for me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I actually liked The Host better than either Harry Potter or Twilight!. I found it more easy to relate to characters and their imperfections in The Host!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Twilight!. I think what ruined Harry Potter for me was I was too young to even understand the book when it came out, so, since then, I've been watching the movies!. When I started reading Harry Potter, it just got annoying trying to read it when you have already seen the movie!. So, it was kind of the movie that ruined it for me!.

Ok i LOVE twilight a heck of a lot more than Harry potter 1!. Because Harry Potter is so unoriginal!. I mean if you read a lot you will find that almost every single book is in someway or another related to harry potter!.
I mean i like Twilight because it is original i mean who writes books about Vampires being the good guys! see no one!. If you go to the grocery store and see candy it will have a bloody vampire on it!. Or if you watch a vampire movie i gurantee vampires will be the bad guys!.

i like both a lot but i think twilight is better mainly because we didnt have to wait 9 years of the entire series to come out, and because all the twilight books tie into eachother better harry potters just go from one year to the next with not really a tie to eachother other than voldemort and harry being enemies!. but i love both series!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
