there could be several possibly themes in this story, however the bond of sisters sticks out to me!.

The story tells of two sisters who start to become vampires!. One manages to find a cure, and return to her human life, while the other sister chooses to become a vampire and leave her family!. After this, the sisters become enemies, but in the end, manage to save eachothers' lives!.
