He's inquisitive - loves to learn
he's generous/thoughtful- he stops stealing from the cottagers when he realizes that they don't have much food!. he shovels their walk, chops wood, etc!.
I kind of think of his loneliness as a good attribute, because it lets us know that he longs for a healthy relationship
umm, can't think of anymore off the top of my head, sorryWww@QuestionHome@Com

Frankenstein was not about the qualities of the monster but the Dr!. inability to deal with his creation!. The monster was a blank slate just like a child when he was taught morals!. As with the cottagers, he learns from that mistake and does not make it again!. The point is that the good Dr!. had a God complex and created life, but he could not handle the magnitude of the creation!. He believed that the monster would come alive a full adult, yet he was a child in an adult body!. So he ran teaching the monster to run when in trouble!. The monster then led him on a good chase!. He did this because it was the only way he could have the Dr!. undivided attention, just as he did when he murdered William!. The monster is the victim of the whole thing!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
