I can't find a good series novel!?

Question: I can't find a good series novel!!?

I am having a little trouble finding a good series of books, which are fiction!. Could someone please make some suggestions of good fiction books they have read or heard they're good!.!.!?

It really depends on what you're looking for WITHIN the fiction genre!.

If you like a more smut-based present-day fantasy type story, the Anite Blake, Vampire Hunter series is pretty good!.

I also liked a series by Susie McKee Charnas, but I can't remember the name or really give it a genre as it's been almost five years since I read it!. It started with the book Motherlines, and is based on a woman-ruled society!.

If you like historical fiction with a high fantasy twist, you would really be into Kate Elliott's Crown of Stars series!. I believe it's complete now!. As it's historical fiction, however, there's a lot of explanation that deals with history!. These parts can be hard to get through at first, though they do offer a huge part of the story's background!.

If you like high fantasy in an alternate universe, I suggest Melanie Rawn's Exiles series, though be warned it's unfinished thus far!. I've been waiting six years for the third book!.

Another high fantasy series that I thoroughly enjoyed was David Drake's Lord of the Isle's series!. He has a distinct style that expostulates heavily and isn't always appreciated, but the books are so entertaining once you get into them!. This takes a more realistic slant than some of the others I've read!.

And yet another series that I loved was the Belgariad series by David Eddings!. Classic high fantasy of epic proportions!.

If you're into gratuitous high fantasy and magic stories, then any series by Mercedes Lackey is good!. The last one I read was The Mage Winds trilogy!. It was decent!.

Crow's "Dante Valentine" series; Anne Bishop "Dark Jewels"; and one I have quietly enjoyed -- John Twelve Hawks "Fourth Realm Trilogy!."
