I have not read Brisingr yet, but I enjoyed Eragon and Eldest!. Inventive and creative idea!. Too bad I hate Eragon (whiny brat) and that Christopher Paolini didn't actually write it!. Look at his acknowledgements; he thanks half of the world!. I started writing my series when I was twelve and have gotten no help except for feedback from the few people I let read it!. Eldest was much too long though and I love long books!. Nothing happened!. It was Eragon training in a forest with the elves!. Yippee!. The only good part of the book was in Roran's point of view!. And seriously, Thorn!? They couldn't come up with a better name for the dragon than Thorn!? You have awesome names like Saphira and Galbatorix and Shruikan and then we have Thorn!. *Sigh* It's worth reading, but quite frustrating most of the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pure rip-off of other better writers (and what is worse- also a rip off of worse writers!.) Pure tosh that I'd expect a ten year old to write!.

Read Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Robert Jordan, Melanie Rawn, etc if you want some decent fantasyWww@QuestionHome@Com

I enjoyed earagon and eldest, although yes if you read fantasy you will see elements taken from here and there!.
