Question: Wondering about a simpler version of 'the Lord of the Rings'!?
Hola everyone! First off, I'd like to make it clear that rude answers will be reported!. Why do people act so mean towards each other!? We are all here to help each other, so please do not be rude or incociderate or down right mean!.
Anyhow, a few years ago I read the Lord of the RIngs book series and watched all of the movies!. I could understand the movies just fine, but the books are a lot harder because of the time period that they were written in!. My question is, are there any simpler or plainer versions of the trilogy!? If so, where can I find them!? Are they expensive!? Would I still get the same enjoyment out of them!? Please answer thouroughly, and if there is any more information I should know, tell me, please!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's just how they're written!. The time period is our time period so that's not an issue!. They seem to be just long winded but that's what has made them so famous - the attention to detail!. Any simplified version would only take away from what it is and would make it a wholly different story!. My suggestion, try to read them again if you really want to!. Tolkien would cringe that you want a dumbed down version on his trilogy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I can offer an alternative fantasy trilogy that I enjoyed!. Stephen R!. Donaldson wrote two trilogies using a modern man that falls into a fantasy world!. You experience this magical land through his eyes!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
As far as I know, there are no other versions of the series!. Maybe try looking into the audio version, other then that though, I don't know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
