Question: Do you think that this 'Twilight Fandom' is getting out of hand !?

I admit!.I love the books, they have alot of things I love!.But also probably about 50% of the time I hate it!.

Anyways, don't you think it's getting out of hand !?

I mean first they do a movie, I gotta say I love all the actors they picked, (except Bella), and then they do a comic-con, which is slightly overboard but oh well, and now they're making an action figure and a soundtrack ! Like, wtf !? an action figure !? only obsessed edward lovers are going to buy this!.And a soundtrack !? The movie hasn't even come out yet!.So who else thinks it's getting very ridiculous !?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can understand making HP, LOTR, Star Wars, Batman, Ironman, etc action figures because-- surprise-- those movies/book have ACTION in them! But Twilight!!? Twilight HAS no action! What do you need Twilight action figures for!? Who is going to BUY them other than little tweeage girls!? The aforementioned action figures appeal to little boys and such-- who are they going to market Twilight figures to!? Better yet, what are they going to LOOK like!? I can see it now-- the Bella action figure will come with special red liquid that you can make her drink and vomit, and the figurine will be pregnant with a door you can open to take out Mutant Spawn (like the Pregnant Barbie)!. The Edward action figure will probably be boring and useless, since Edward never does anything in the books except sit there and look pretty!. Maybe his will be made out of cardboard, since he's such a two dimensional character!. The Jake one will come equipped with diapers and a Mutant Spawn figurine!.

The Twilight fandom is way out of hand!. No offense to any of ya'll, but some of the Twilight fans are CRAZY!. A few weeks ago, RPattz, Kirsten, and Taylor were one some TV show and they announced Paramore would be playing!. Because of a time shortage, the host had to cut off Rob while Rob was in the middle of his line!. Some of the Twilighters FREAKED out-- they sent death threats to the host, slammed him online, told him he was "fat and ugly and jealous of Rob", said things like "RPattaz is Edward!. Edward is God!. Cutting him off is like murdering someone"!. It was insane and SO immature that it made me completely ashamed to call myself a teenager!. There's also an infamous Youtuber-- Nutty Madam-- who said that anyone who didn't like Breaking Dawn should suffocate themselves with Walmart bags (and she meant it seriously, not jokingly)!.

In other words, half of the Twilight fandom is batshit crazy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know a girl that is changing her last name to Cullen!. Seriously, its so dumb because she is going to regret it when she's thirty!. She is so scarily obsessed with Twilight and Edward--she hates me for liking Jacob (formerly) and hating Breaking Dawn!. I don't think its right to hate someone because they have a different opinion than you do, but whatever, I don't talk to her anymore!. Action figures and a soundtrack!? That's so stupid!. *shakes head*

Something else really pathetic is that my school library, yes library, is selling Twilight movie posters!. When I saw the little ad for it I was like WTF!. How ridiculous is that!!? The library should be a place for reading books, not promoting movies that will likely suck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well, you have to admit, they also made action figures (which is kinda sad) for harry potter too, and I know that twilight isn't quite as big as Harry Potter, but it's all just for businness!. Absolutely!. Part of the reason I started to dislike Twilight was its fan base!. I just looked at them on here, and I was like, "Um, I hope that's not how people see me!." And from there, I started to actually pay attention to the criticisms Twilight was getting, realized they were true, and now I hate the book!.

Action figure!? Hadn't heard of that!. That's utterly!.!.!.!. repulsive!. And then the fandom will get all upset and complain about how imperfect it is, and how it doesn't look at all like EddiePoo!. Comic-Con WAS overboard!. So was that NYC Aug2nd BD release, where they had that one band, whose name escapes me at the moment!. You know, that concert thing!. It was unnecessary!. Um!.!.!. wow!. An action figure!? Well, they have action figures for a lot of fandoms!. They have them for Harry Potter!. They have them for Star Wars!. They probably have them for Lord of the Rings (though I'm not sure)!. But why would anyone want a Twilight action figure!? All of the characters look like normal people! In Harry Potter, the people were AT LEAST dressed in wizard attire!. But Bella would look just like any other person!. Comic con: Well, comic con wasn't EXACTLY all Twilight!. There were a lot of things there!. There was a Lost booth, and Lost isn't nearly as insane as Twilight!.
