Question: Beowulf help, please!?
I need this answer this question (but only the first:

"What are some of the differences between the poet's world and that of the characters in the poem!? How does the poet create a distance between the characters and himself and how does he express their own sense of a distant past!?"

It needs to be roughly 300 words hand-written, but I don't think I can write that much; the poet's world is essentially Christian, but the character's world (that of Celtic culture, although it takes place in Scandanavia), is semi-Christian!. I also think that the character's lived together more than those in England between 700-1000 A!.D!. (when it was written, supposedly)!.

The second half, I am completely lost!. I don't even know where to begin!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You're on the right track!. Christianity is a major difference!. The poet includes whole passages that express the Christian worldview!. Social structure is a difference, too!. When you say they lived together more, you're right in a way: they lived in a chiefdom!.
As to the second question, here are a couple clues: foreshadowing and heritage!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
