Hi there,

One of my favourite books in this sort of genre is "Kitty and the Midnight Hour" by Carrie Vaughn, http://www!.amazon!.co!.uk/Kitty-Midnight-H!.!.!. , which is about a werewolf called Kitty, who is also a DJ on a local radio station!. From Amazon: "One night, she accidentally starts 'The Midnight Hour', a late-night advice show for the supernaturally disadvantaged!. Almost immediately she's deluged by calls from desperate vampires, werewolves and witches from all across the country, wanting to share their woes and ask her advice!. Kitty's new show is a raging success, but it's Kitty herself who could use some help, not least because her monthly change is a deep and dark secret to all but a very special few!. And when she finds one very sexy werewolf-hunter on her tail, not to mention a few homicidal undead, she realises she may just may have bitten off more than she can chew !. !. !. "

It's really good, and is the first book of The Kitty Norville Series!.

Another book I would recommend is: Touch the Dark, by Karen Chance, which is the first book of the Cassandra Palmer Series!. http://www!.amazon!.co!.uk/Touch-Dark-Karen!.!.!. Cassandra can see the future and talk to dead spirits!. She gets hunted by a vampire, and has to turn to the vampire senate for protection, but at a high price!. I don't want to spoil it for you, but it's really good!

Finally, Stray, by Rachel Vincent, is also very good!. It's the first of The Werecats Series!. This is the review from Amazon: Faythe Sanders is trying hard to be a regular American grad-student!. That's not easy to do when you're really one of the last eight breeding female werecats in the country!. And when a stray werecat attacks her on campus, she's pulled back home by her overprotective family for her own safety!. It seems that she's not the first to be attacked - two of her fellow tabbies have gone missing as well!.

In the high-energy story that follows, Faythe is determined to prove herself capable of the independence she so desperately craves!. Clashing with parents, her brothers and her ex-boyfriend Marc, she ultimately makes a fatal error in judgement that lands her in the hands of the stray!. Can she escape, save her fellow tabbies and prove herself worth more than just marriage and kittens!? http://www!.amazon!.co!.uk/Stray-Rachel-Vin!.!.!.

I'm half-way through, and it's funny, but really exciting too!.

Happy reading!

Christine Feehan does her "Dark" series!. I'm picky when it comes to which authors I recommend, and she writes them from first and second accounts, so it keeps the flow well!. They're about Carpathians, which are basically vampires, but not in the traditional sense!. A book has to keep flow and interest in order for me to read it, simply because I really like to read, but not books with crappy plots or super slow story lines!. I think you would like it, since it has a different view point considering the Carpathians, their enemies, and their way of life!. I still have yet to finish the entire series, because I only buy used books!. It's not so hard on the pocket book, that way if you find you don't like it, you're not out 8, 20, or 25 bucks for a not-so-thrilling book!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love Meg Cabot (Heather Wells & Queen of Babble, and tons of others), Sophie Kinsella's (Shopaholic [soon to be movie] & Remember Me), Jennifer Weiner (Good in Bed & Certain Girls) and Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed & Something Blue) books!.They are all great authors!

For a young adult/teen Meg Cabot's young adult books!. She is the best author!. also best selling!. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, Airhead and more!. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her!.

If you want more info or any of the authors website's email me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
