Well, as I am a fellow writer I need to know a few things!. I have been writing since I was in grade 3!.

Now, firstly you need to write what you feel comfortable writing and what you are interested in!. There is no use in writing about fish if you don't know anything about them and find them boring!. Writing is a great thing and is something that you need to concentrate on!.It is fantastic if your interests match a lot of other peoples, but it is better to write from your heart, not from somebody else's head!.

Hope this helpedWww@QuestionHome@Com

I usually read books from the YA section but genre wise I like sci-fi/fanasty and realisitic fiction!.

The biggest thing I look for are realistic characters!. Usually like the anti-hero as opposed to the traditional hero!. They have flaws and aren't the people you would normally look to as a hero type!. I like reading characters that I can relate too!. Stuff like Harry Potter, or Ender's Game, Maximum Ride, Pendragon

Then in the realistic fiction stuff like Define Normal, Catalyst, Chris Crutcher's books!.

Write what you know, both in genre and subject matter though and you'll find it's a lot easier to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
