Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
There are several messages, or more accurately, things that can be determined about Stoker's society through the text!. I'd take a look at both the relationships between men and women and at the xenophobia of western Europe toward "the dark east!." That should get you started!. I don't recall much about the plague, which you didn't see a lot of in 1897!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think Dracula is about Reptiles, Dracula is in 1 of the 13 Illuminati Bloodlines, he is actually related to G!.W!.Bush!.
In the movies you can see many signs of snake like things in many of the scenes!. In one of the movies it shows a Reptilian Humanoid driving the cart with 2 horses!.
In the Dracula days many people believed Reptilians were leaders!.
I am in the bloodline of Bloody Mary's cousin, and she got beheaded in for an acult sacrifice, this gives me beheaded royalty :-/
these 13 bloodlines run everything today, all our presidents belong to them, and most of the famous people in Hollywood, almost all of these families use to belong to cults, for ruling the World!. They would use The Universal Law of Attraction to make this all happen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, it is a vampire drinking blood!. It conveys a lot about the sexuality and power distribution of the society of the same time!.

It was also the pioneering book on vampires, on which today we see a lot of writings!.

Honestly, this book is a must-read, it is one of my best personal favorites!. You also get to read it free of cost here:

By the way, Albert Camus had written the famous book "Plague" (since you asked about plague also), unfortunately you don't get to read that book free onlnie legally!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It has alot to do with the way that men were terrified of their own mortality and the sexual aggression in the Modern Woman (of that time)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
