Question: Who likes original pulp novels from the 1930s and 1940s!?
I'm talking the real stuff like when Heinlein, Hubbard, EE Doc Smith, Del Ray and so forth were writing!. When the stories had to be good because we didn't have TVs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do, I do!

Weirdly, I sort of grew up on them, because my dad had a ton of that stuff, and no restrictions were placed on our reading so my brother and I just burned through every thing in the house!. That has made a rather peculiar literary polymath out of me, a fact for which I am grateful!. The only thing is that very few storylines seem original to me any more, which brings it all down to style!. I guess that's fine though too!. It's always been more important to me than plot, really!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

god, "double indemnity" AND "postman always rings twice!." how can you top that!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
