Question: How do I copyright a book I written!?
I will like to self publish my book but before I do I want to know how do I go about protecting my work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As soon as you write your book it is copyright protected!. But for an official copyright with a paper trail you need to register your work with the appropriate copyright office!.

Its under copyright as soon as you write it!. You can even write on the document copyright Princillabad 2008 and that will do!. To have it copyrighted in public record go to the website listed below and it will help you with that!. But essentially once you have written something original its yours copyrighting it on record is sometimes costly and unnecessary!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

You copyright your own book, by going through tons of paperwork given by the government!. You must go through lawyers and have it patent!. If you would like to have it published, you would have to go through a publishing company!. Which would copyright the book for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
