He lived in Chicgo, Toronto,Italy, Paris, Spain and Cuba as well as Sun Valley, Idaho!. He travelled extensively in Africa where he hunted!. His language was affected by the Spanish and French languages!. He has characters who speak Eglish but who sound like they are speking Spanish!. See, The Old Man and the Sea and For Whom the Bell Tolls!. I think the same is true of French!. The culture has been affected by the sport of bull fighting among others!. He came to greatly admire the bravery of bull fighters and wrote about it a lot!. Big game hunters as well!. By the way John Steinbeck wrote The Pearl!.Www@QuestionHome@Com he lived in cuba and wrote books that kinda mimicked that life, such as "the pearl" and "old man and the sea", being in cuba he did speak very good spanish!. he traveled to africa for safari adventures, similarly his books were about very manly adventures!.Www@QuestionHome@Com hemingway also had a home in Key West, Fl!.
