As part of my job of teaching English to Flight Attendants I needed a book that would stimulate my students imaginations, Treasure Island seemed to fit the bill, adventure, travel, good guys and bad guys!. My students all of them Chinese loved every page of it and so did I!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Treasure Island is kind of a snore if you're not into pirates and boy-like adventure!. It's about this kid who gets his inn attacked by pirates, and he finds a treasure map, and he and this doctor, and some other people go hunting for it!. Then the good people (the doctor and the kid, along with a few others) get turned on by the rest of the crew!. They had to find a way to keep themselves alive, because the bad people would kill them!. The little boy escapes and sets everyone free!. Then they go home!.

It's a boring book!. I don't exactly recommend it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Treasure Island is a great book and not a difficult read at all!. The last time I read it I was staying near Penzance!. If you're ever there, go to the Admiral Benbow restaurant -- it's the same one where the action in the book starts! It's in an old building that actually has a smugglers' tunnel underneath that leads down to the bay! Pirates aren't dead!.!.!. they're just hiding!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i have the book but i never read it, it bored me!. i know it's a classic and whatever but!.!.!.i just couldn't get past the first few pages!.
