L!.A!.Bank's Minion!. My ap eng teacher gave it to me when I was in high school and I just could not put it down!. The next day I went to borders and bought the next installments!. She is so creative with her writing and even though her books have vampires and evil things, it all about faith and doesn't exclude race nor religious affiliation!.
