Question: I want to write a novel but i feel like the words cant escape my brain and on to paper!. How do i overcome this!?

It is normal to feel stressed!. I am working on my second novel and what helped me get through the writer's block was to finish all my research and re-read my notes!. I then set down every evening to write!. Many authors recommend writing at least 250 words per day!. The key is to not stop!.!.!. just write what comes to you!. Once you've finished 1 weeks worth of writings, re-read, re-write, and then start over for the next week!. Before you know it - your words are flowing from your brain to your paper!. Get rid of any distractions too!. Turn off the T!.V!. and music that has lyrics so you don't drift off and lose focus!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, I just recently got my first novel accepted!. Believe me, this was not my first attempt!. It took many, many, many tries!. You have what you call writer's block!. Anyone who has ever written anything has gotten this!. They would be lying if they told you that they didn't!. It is very normal and also normal as well to feel stressed!. If you begin to feel that overpowering you it won't be "fun" anymore!. Walk away from your computer or paper for a while and then come back!. Take a walk around the block, listen to music, watch some tv!. When you return, just write!. Write whatever comes to your mind!. Just get thoughts down!. It doesn't have to be organized or even make sense!. If you are just getting the ideas out that will help it all flow and you can go back later and put it in a more organized fashion!. Try keeping a mini-cassette recorder with you!. If you get an idea, tell it to the tape!. After you've got some ideas on there, play it back and see if that helps!. Just an idea !. !. !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
