Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You know, it's hard to write a summary on that book because so many events happen, but: In The Second Summer of the Sisterhood, Lena, Tibby, Carmen, and Bridget are set to embark on whatever adventures their sixteenth summer takes them on!. The four girls, who live in Washington DC, and who have been best friends since birth, plan to send the traveling pants, a pair of jeans which magically, and ordinarily impossibly, fit all four girls perfectly, to one another as they did last summer!. This summer, however, Lena, Tibby, Carmen, and Bridget's plans are a little bit different!. Tibby goes to Virginia to take a summer film class!. However, in addition to learning how to make films, she ends up learning that she still needs to come to terms with her friend Bailey's death as well as how she feels about her friend Brian!. Lena, while at first depressed about ending her relationship with her Greek boyfriend, and first love, Kostos, quickly picks up things with him again when he comes to Washington DC to visit her!. However, when he has to mysteriously go back to Greece, Lena finds that being with Kostos might be harder than not being with him!. After quitting soccer and dying her hair after the disasters of last summer, Bridget impulsively decides to go to Alabama to meet her Grandmother, whom she has not seen since she was six!. Pretending to be "Gilda," Bridget gets a job cleaning out her grandmother's attic, and while doing so she hopes to find out more information about her family and her deceased mother, who her father does not talk about!. Carmen stays home and has been supportive of her single mother, who has fallen in love!. When Carmen's mother borrows the Traveling Pants however, it pushes Carmen over the edge, and she has to realize that her mother will not be single forever!. In the Second Summer of the Sisterhood, Lena, Tibby, Carmen, and Bridget all have to come to terms with love and loss, while still being able to depend on their ever-growing friendship!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Looks like someone needs to do their own homework!.
