Well I can see that some people are not really supportive about Meyer's concept about love between Vampires and Humans!. But don't you see, that's exactly the point of the book! We know that we're not supposed to support the forbidden love of Edward and Bella, but we still do!. It's because in the book Bella sees Edward for the person he really is, isn't it what we do with humans as well!? Just as there are good and evil humans, there are also good and bad Vampires and luckily for Bella Edward belongs to the former!. The fact that he's resisting the strong desire to bite her throat, isn't that a representation of love!? And Bella is completely aware of the fact that Edward loves her smell, and even though he hasn't attacked humans in the last 90 years, there's a possibility that he might be overcome by his vampire instincts!. Even then she's willing to spend every day of her life with him, knowing that the more time she spends with him, the more she's putting herself into danger!. If that's not love, I, for one don't know what is!. To those people, who think Bella is weak, try hanging out with vampires and werewolves for a day!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the theme of love in twilight, is, for one thing, REAL LOVE, and not lust, no matter what anyone says!. (i mean, they have a right to their opinion and all, but so do i!) the fact that they would do anything for each other, for one thing, and the fact that they remain together, even though it is, really, against nature that they should be; she's prey, he's predator, they have the ability to over-look that so they can be together!. Edward risks his family and pain on his side to be with her, and Bella goes with him even though she knows that he is an outcast, and that Billy warned her against it!. then, edward doesn't give Bella up to james, even though there is a big chance he or his family cou;d get hurt!. would you really do that for someone you just lusted after!? plus, if it really was just lust, then why would he have a problem with turning her into a vampire!? he had the life himself, and he resented it, and he wanted better for her, so he refused to do that to her, even though she wanted it, because he wanted better for her!. also, the fact that bella is willing to become a vampire just to make things easier for him and to be with him without hurting him shows this!.
you shoudl really read the book! it is absolutely wonderful!. a few people just hav a few issues with it, just because bella is young and edward is a vampire!. i mean, come on! give it a chance! hope that is helpful!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh yes, the theme of love is really good as presented in Twilight!. Doesn't the sound of an 18 year old teenager having ssex with a century old vampire sound good!. And of course, giving birth to the vampire's demon baby sounds really romantic!. Well done Stephenie Meyer for providing such a good example of love to millions of other teenager girls!. I have to say that I really don't agree with Fal M's response at all!. This is not a personal attack at all but some people are too shallow to understand the real meaning and feelings within the book!. All they see is 'Vampire' and 'Human' and automatically think the actual story is stupid an meaningless, which is not the case!. The fact that these two characters are willing to give their lives and everything that is important to them just for each other says so much!. To the people who have taken time to read into the story and actually got something out of it, well done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because it is a forbidden love and although both characters know that they shouldn't fall for each other the way that they have, they do anyway because their love is too strong and is more important than what happens because of itWww@QuestionHome@Com

There is no theme in Twilight!. SM even said so!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
