Question: Who's point of view is it in this book!?
I am reading the book The Scarlet Letter, and i can't figure out who is telling the story!. The author is describing the events but is not actually a character at all!. i don't understand if that is fourth person or maybe even fifth person if it goes that high!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the name for that point of view is third person!. if the focus is just on what one character does, it's called third person limited; if the narrator seems to know all about all the characters' actions, it's called third person omniscient!. hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

3rd person!. It is first person if it is from the main character's POV!. If it is from another person's POV that isn't any character in the story, it is 3rd!. That is it!. There is no second, fourth, or fifth!. Let me ask you a question!. Are you 10!? Because I learned that when I was 11! Then every year after that in English!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
