OK I read it in seventh grade out of a liturature book and it was about a little girl from earth that moved to mars and she had to go to school there!. Its like a deserted planet with nothing green from spring and she trys to tell the kids at school that on earth there is a spring and there flowers and trees and grass!. Anyways The kids there know nothing about earth b/c they were born on mars and have forgoten about earth!. Theres only a spring every so maney 10 years I think!.She draws colorful pictures of spring with flowers and sunshine and the kids don't believe her and they make fun of her and keep saying theres no such thing!. The teacher I think tells them that she saw spring once on mars when she was a kid and that it will come soon b/c its almost that time or something!. Anyways one day they lock her in a closet at school b/c they think shes lying and then the rain stops on mars and the sun comes out and all the kids run out there forgeting about the girl who spoke of nothing but spring!. Then flowers bloom and trees come up and animals come out and theres grass and they start playing, but it only lasts alittle while!. Then they remember what the girl said and they feel bad so they pick her a bunch of flowers and draw pictures of what they saw and then they let her out and give them to her!. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
